Shehzad Poonawalla has lifted the winner’s trophy of Rise And Fall Season 2, bringing the six-week reality competition to an end. Hosted by former Indian cricketer Virender Sehwag, the MX Original reality show concluded on November 6, 2026, with Shehzad defeating television favourites Priyanka Chahar Choudhary and Gautam Gulati in the final race. Along with the title, he received a cash prize of ₹35 lakh, which he has pledged to donate towards flood-relief efforts in Bihar and Assam.
The victory marks an interesting achievement for Shehzad, who made his reality television debut with the show. Despite entering a competition featuring several established television personalities, he managed to become one of the season’s most talked-about contestants.
Rise And Fall 2 Finale: Who Finished as Runner-Up?
The grand finale brought together six finalists: Shehzad Poonawalla, Priyanka Chahar Choudhary, Gautam Gulati, Swara Bhasker, Karan Patel and Niharika Tiwari.
The final episode began with performances from the contestants before the competition entered its decisive stages. Niharika Tiwari was eliminated following the Fortune Floor Pyramid challenge, reducing the contenders to five.
Karan Patel and Swara Bhasker subsequently exited the competition after the Tower lights turned red, leaving Shehzad, Priyanka and Gautam in the final battle.
The last stage introduced another unexpected twist when the winner’s crown went to a vote. A tie among the final three meant the remaining contestants had to decide the ultimate winner.
Gautam secured the third position, while Priyanka finished as the first runner-up. Shehzad ultimately emerged victorious, becoming the second-season champion.
Shehzad Poonawalla Pledges ₹35 Lakh Prize Money
One of the biggest highlights following the announcement was Shehzad’s decision to donate his entire ₹35 lakh winning amount towards flood-relief efforts in Bihar and Assam.
Reflecting on his victory, he said, “Winning Rise and Fall Season 2 is a feeling I can’t put into words. This journey wasn’t easy — from the highs of the Tower to the uncertainty of the Basement, I had to constantly adapt and push through, even when things weren’t going my way.”
His decision to donate the prize money adds another significant dimension to his victory, turning the reality show achievement into a contribution towards people affected by floods.
Virender Sehwag Hosted the Second Season
The second season featured 15 celebrity contestants competing in a format built around the division between Rulers and Workers. Contestants occupying the Penthouse enjoyed positions of power, while those in the Basement had to find opportunities to climb the Tower.
The changing positions created shifting alliances, rivalries and unexpected eliminations throughout the competition. Shehzad’s friendship with Swara Bhasker, rivalry with Priyanka Chahar Choudhary and confrontation with Siwet Tomar became some of the season’s widely discussed moments.
